Video_01_ENG   Video_02_ENG   Video_03_ENG   Video_04_ENG

Experiment Goal:

To enable the following features:
– auto-reporting of keep-alive starting at power-up
– creation of a prototype of potentially ALWAYS-RUNNING RPi powered from batteries that are recharged from solar energy

This will allow future stand-alone GREEN projects

Experiment Description:

TBD

Components:

– 1 Small Solar Panel producing about 5V – extracted from some bad working product
– 1 SS34 Diode also extracted from the same bad working product
Raspberry PI Model A+ potentially (by the spec) consuming less power than other RPi models
Edimax EW-7811Un Wi-Fi dongle
– Empty Ferrero-Rocher chocolate box for keeping the prototype outdoors

Architecture:

TBD
